Task View — Personal Organizer • Task View LLC
By downloading, installing, or using Task View ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Task View LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a Wisconsin limited liability company.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
Task View is a personal productivity application that allows users to create, manage, and organize daily and weekly task lists. The App stores all user data locally on the user's device and, where enabled by the user, in the user's own cloud storage account (Apple iCloud or Google Drive). Task View LLC does not store, access, or transmit user data to its own servers.
The App offers a free trial period beginning on the date of first installation. No payment is required during the free trial period. Full access to all App features is available during the trial. The duration of the free trial is as displayed in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store listing at the time of download.
Upon expiration of the free trial, continued use of the App requires a paid subscription. Current subscription pricing, including any introductory or promotional rates, is displayed in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store listing. Task View LLC reserves the right to offer introductory pricing, promotional rates, and limited-time offers at its discretion. All pricing is denominated in US dollars unless otherwise indicated in the applicable store listing.
Subscription fees are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. Current pricing is always available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store listing. Continued use of the App after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You agree to use the App only for lawful personal productivity purposes. You agree not to:
Task View is designed exclusively for personal task management and daily planning. You may not use the App to store, process, or manage any regulated, protected, or sensitive data, including but not limited to:
Task View LLC makes no representations or warranties regarding compliance with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX, GLBA, FERPA, or any other regulatory framework. The App has not been designed, audited, or certified for use with regulated data. Use of the App for any such purpose is a violation of these Terms and is entirely at the user's own risk. Task View LLC expressly disclaims all liability arising from any such use.
The App, including all content, features, functionality, design, code, and associated materials, is owned by Task View LLC and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the App or any of its content, except for the limited right to use the App as described herein. "Task View" and associated logos and marks are trademarks of Task View LLC. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.
All task data, notes, and settings you create in the App are stored locally on your device. Task View LLC does not have access to this data.
If you enable cloud backup, your data is stored in your personal Apple iCloud or Google Drive account. Task View LLC does not have access to your cloud storage and does not store copies of your data on its own servers.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TASK VIEW LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SELECTION AND USE OF THE APP AND FOR THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM ITS USE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TASK VIEW LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF TASK VIEW LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL TASK VIEW LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TASK VIEW LLC IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Task View LLC is not responsible for any loss of data resulting from device failure, software malfunction, deletion, or any other cause. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. The App's cloud backup feature is provided as a convenience and does not constitute a guarantee against data loss.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by cancelling your subscription and uninstalling the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the Effective Date at the top of this document and, where required, by prompting you to re-accept the updated Terms within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Task View LLC regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications between you and Task View LLC regarding the same subject matter.
